The Windmill has proudly sponsored the Hudson Park High School 1st Cricket Team for the last three years. This pic commemorates the team, known as “The Big 5 Eaters” after they were ranked third in the country after beating five well known sporting schools, namely Kingswood College, Grey PE, Selborne College, Dale College and Queens College. Well done boys!
The Windmill always trys to assist where needed, and in the case of AW Barnes we donated clothing for a Heritage Excursion that the school took to Cape Town. It was the first time that many of the kids had travelled out of our area, and we hope that the kids of AW Barnes learnt something valuable on their excursion.
The Reach for a Dream foundation took some of their kids on an outing to the East London Aquarium and the Windmill was proud to be the sponsors of this meaningful event! This is only one form of our ongoing involvement in helping the local community and underpriveledged.
